Enrichment
At Blackfield Primary and Nursery School, we believe that some of the most memorable and important learning happens beyond the classroom.
Our enrichment offer is designed to give every child opportunities to discover new interests, develop their talents, build confidence and experience things they may not otherwise have the opportunity to do.
Throughout their time at Blackfield, children benefit from a wide range of experiences including educational visits and residentials, clubs and activities, sport and competition, music and performance, pupil leadership and unique opportunities within school.
From broadcasting on our own FAB FM radio station and climbing aboard our Harry Potter Reading Bus, to representing Blackfield in sport, performing with our School Rock Band, taking part in residential visits and having a genuine voice in school life, we want children's primary years to be filled with experiences they will remember.
Most importantly, we want enrichment to be for everyone. We work hard to ensure that children's circumstances or additional needs do not prevent them from participating in the wider opportunities available at Blackfield.
