Communication
Good communication between home and school is an important part of supporting our children. We aim to make it simple for parents and carers to know where to find information and who to contact when they need us.
Arbor
Arbor is our main communication and information system for parents.
Parents and carers use Arbor to receive school emails and important information, update contact details and consents, book parents’ evenings and access information about their child.
It is important that all parents and carers have access to Arbor and keep their contact details up to date.
ClassDojo
We use ClassDojo to share classroom news, photographs, reminders and updates about children's learning.
Nursery and Year R
ClassDojo is used for two-way communication between families and the Early Years team.
Years 1–6
ClassDojo is used by the school to share updates with families. Messaging is not used for parents to contact teachers.
For questions or messages in Years 1–6, please contact the school office, who will make sure your message reaches the appropriate member of staff.

Our school office is the first point of contact for general enquiries, appointments, absence reporting or if you are unsure who you need to speak to.

If you need to speak to your child's teacher, the office team can pass on a message or arrange for the appropriate member of staff to contact you.
Keeping Up to Date
Important information and whole-school communications are sent through Arbor. We also celebrate school life and share news through our website and social media channels.
We value face-to-face communication too. Members of our leadership team are regularly on the school gates at the beginning and end of the day and are always happy to say hello.
